Carbondale Area School Board will hold a public work session tonight, Monday, March 28.....

Carbondale Area School Board will hold a public work session tonight — Monday, March 28 — to review plans for the $15 million high school renovation project.

Project plans will be unveiled and outlined for the school directors as well as district residents by the architectural firm The Palumbo Group.

Two school board members, directors Tracey Andrews and Diane Harrity, complained at this month's school board meeting about a lack of information being provided on the project by Palumbo.

"All we've been doing is paying bills [on the project]," Andrews offered.

That prompted officials from the firm to offer to discuss the plans in detail during a public work session.

The board agreed and originally scheduled the work session for last week, but it eventually had to be cancelled due to inclement weather.  It has been rescheduled for tonight.

The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. in the high school library.

The public is invited to attend.
