The View Restaurant opened on Main Street in Clifford on Easter Sunday, April 8.
According to owner Lindsey Scavo-Striefsky, a grand opening will be held soon following the approval of a liquor license.
“We’re very excited about opening at this landmark location in Clifford,” Lindsey told the NEWS. “The View offers a wide range of food and beverages, as well as motel facilities, and the convenience of a retail shopping center next door.”
The View’s Coyote Bar & Grill accommodates approximately 70 people, and guests will be able to order from the full menu up to 9 p.m. from the bar menu, which will feature finger foods, sandwiches, flatbreads, and other dishes.
All of the motel rooms have been renovated, providing both non-smoking and smoking sections that also accept pets.
The main dining room in the restaurant can be set up for private parties for up to 50 visitors for after-funeral buffets, showers, weddings, parties, business meetings, etc. The Banquet Hall seats approximately 175 people and will have its own bar and buffet stations for those who do not want a sit-down affair. There is also a dance floor in the banquet area.
The Pavilion Bar-B-Q and Pool can accommodate approximately 100 people for private parties, and will be open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday starting in mid-June. It will feature its own food line and bar.
“We will also be hosting comedy nights, karaoke, dance nights, and a variety of entertainment for those under age 21 and adults,” Lindsey added.
The restaurant hours are 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week. The Coyote Bar and Grill will be opened from noon to midnight Sunday through Thursday, and on Friday and Saturday from noon to 1 a.m. For more information, call The View at 222-5000.
