BRIEF CASE STOLEN — Cheryl Pappa, Greenfield Twp., reported that someone stole a brief case from her car while the vehicle was parked in the Mancuso lot on River St. between July 9 and Aug. 1. She described her brief case as being navy blue in color with an alligator finish. Capt. Joseph Pilcavage filed the report.
WOMEN CITED FOR DOG VIOLATIONS — Latoya Curtis, 34, of 45 Pearl St., and Sidyea Hainey, 31, of 47 Pearl St. were cited for allowing dogs to run loose and failing to remove dog feces from another property at 1:46 p.m. on Aug. 2. Officer Rebecca Clark filed the report.
LICENSE PLATE STOLEN — Robert Wall, 113 Canaan St., reported at 9:40 a.m. on Aug. 3 that someone stole the license plate from his 2007 Toyota four-door while the vehicle was parked along the side of his residence during the previous night. Capt. Joseph Pilcavage filed the report.
QUAD STOLEN — Phil Lowry, 15 Sand St., reported at 3:04 p.m. on Aug. 12 that someone stole his 2002 Honda ATV from a car port along the side of his residence. He stated that the quad was valued at $5,000. Officer Rebecca Clark filed the report.
MAN CITED AS DRUNK AND DISORDERLY — John Backman, 76 Belmont St., was cited for public drunkenness, disorderly conduct, and prohibited acts after he was found passed out in an intoxicated condition in front of the Rite-Aid store on North Main St. at 6:15 p.m. on Aug. 21. Police searched his bag and also discovered $80 worth of merchandise which had been taken from the store. Officer Dominick Andidora filed the report.
MAN ARRESTED FOLLOWING DISTURBANCE — David Dancey, 39, of 24 River St. was arrested for disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, criminal trespassing, and possession of a small amount of marijuana after causing a disturbance at 94 8th Ave. at 8:58 p.m. on Aug. 21. Sgt. Joseph Laguzzi filed the report.
MOTORIST CITED — Sally Ann Novak, Clifford Twp., was cited for exceeding the posted speed limit at Brooklyn St. and Greenfield Rd. in a 2011 Hyundai sedan at 12:33 p.m. on Aug. 13. Officer David Fofi filed the report.
