Police reports for Feb. 6:
MAN, WOMAN CITED AS NUISANCE — Charles Curtis, 44, of 33 Cottage St. and Leticia Moncrief, 32, of 19 Midland St., Simpson, were cited for disorderly conduct after creating a disturbance at Curtis' residence by fighting with each other at 10:47 p.m. on Jan. 18. They were both also cited for nuisance violation due to police being called to the residence five times in the previous 10 months. Officer Dominick Andidora filed the report.
WOMAN CITED AS DISORDERLY — Jessica Zintel, 23, of 135 Westgate Dr. G-8 was cited for disorderly conduct after causing a disturbance in her apartment building by playing music too loud at 9:49 p.m. on Jan. 24. Zintel was cited for disorderly conduct again at her residence at 4:20 a.m. on Jan. 27 for loud banging noises in her apartment which created a disturbance. Officer Joseph Janczak filed the reports.
WOMAN ARRESTED FOR DUI — Colleen Noll, 46, of 6 Oak Ave. was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol after she was stopped by police on Belmont St. in a 1997 Chevrolet Lumina mini-van for driving in an erratic manner at 2:03 a.m. on Jan. 27. Police detected a strong odor of alcohol on her breath and observed that her speech was slurred. She was taken into custody and transported to headquarters for processing, then to the Lackawanna County DUI Center for a test to determine her blood alcohol level. MOTORIST, VEHICLE OWNER CITED — Amy Curtis, 178 Belmont St. 2B, was cited for operating a motor vehicle at an unsafe speed and careless driving along a snow-covered road, causing an accident at North Main St. and North Church St. at 10:30 a.m. on Jan. 28. Curtis was also cited for operating a motor vehicle while the registration was suspended, driving without insurance, and failing to stay at the scene of an accident and immediately notify police. Victoria Whitelavich, 174 Upper Powderly St., is the owner of the Mitsubishi that Curtis was driving at the time of the accident. Whitelavich was cited for permitting violation of title by allowing Curtis to drive the vehicle without insurance and with a suspended registration. Officer Aaron Haley filed the report.
