  • WBRE-TV (NBC) announced that the cast of NBC's hit show, The Office will make a farewell appearance in the show's fictional home of Scranton, on May 4.
Office cast members set to appear include: Rainn Wilson, John Krasinski, Jenna Fischer, Ellie Kemper, Brian Baumgartner, Oscar Nunez, Phyllis Smith, Paul Lieberstein, Kate Flannery, Creed Bratton, Craig Robinson and Andy Buckley. Also, Executive producer Greg Daniels will be there.
The events of May 4 will begin with a mix-and-mingle breakfast at the University of Scranton. A question and answer session with writers from the show will follow at 11 a.m. Tickets are $10 for the writer's panel or $15 for the panel and the breakfast.
At 2 p.m., the City of Scranton will hold a parade featuring cast and crew from The Office, which will be followed by a street festival running until 5 p.m. Both events are free to the public.
The day will end with a Farewell Celebration at PNC Field beginning at 7 p.m. It will feature Q&A from the cast, remarks from Executive Producer Greg Daniels, and a sneak peek at the Series Finale, set to air on May 16 on WBRE-TV. Tickets for the celebration at PNC Field will start at $7, and seating is limited.
Tickets are available at theofficewrapparty.com and pahomepage.com/.
The event marks the second time the cast has made the trek to Scranton en masse. The first event was "The Office Convention" in 2007, when thousands of fans flocked to Scranton to meet the cast and crew.
Just as in 2007, the Office Wrap Party is a result of a partnership between several organizations, including Times-Shamrock Communications, the City of Scranton, Lackawanna County Convention & Visitors Bureau, Lackawanna County, the state, the University of Scranton, the Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce, and WBRE-TV.
"WBRE is thrilled to be able to once again be a part of bringing the cast of The Office back home to Scranton. This is an event that no Office fan will want to miss." said Chris O'Neal, Creative Services Director, WBRE-TV.
