Pennstar Bank President and Chief Executive Officer David Raven has announced that Ann Vadella of Carbondale has rejoined the retail management team as Business Development Officer. In her role, she will contribute to branch sales, customer service and operations in the valley of the bank’s Lackawanna Region.
Vadella has 31 years of retail banking experience. Before joining Pennstar Bank, she was employed by Community Bank and Trust Company. Prior to that, she was a branch manager at Pennstar Bank.
“We welcome Ann Vadella to Pennstar Bank,” Raven said. “Her experience serving the financial needs of customers in the local community will be a valuable asset as we look to enhance our customer relationships.”
Pennstar Lackawanna Regional Manager Dom Mitchell added, “We are excited that Ann is rejoining our staff. Her familiarity with the local community combined with her knowledge of financial services will allow her to continue our tradition of excellent customer service.”
Vadella holds an associate’s degree from Keystone Junior College. She has also completed numerous American Institute of Banking professional development courses.
Active in her local community, Vadella is a member and past president of the Carbondale Kiwanis Club. Additional community service includes membership in the Carbondale Community Development Group, Carbondale Area Elementary Parent Teachers Association, and Carbondale Clock Restoration Committee. She also volunteers with the Carbondale Junior Chargers Football Organization.
