INCIDENTS
NUISANCE PROPERTIES CITED — The following property owners were cited on Oct. 6 and 15 for nuisance violations following inspections by Code Enforcement Officer Chris Pezak: James Scudero, Hauppauge, N.Y., for a property he owns at 79 Lunny Court, for trash, debris and scrap accumulated and scattered there; Charles and Joann Cawley, 77 Archbald St., for inoperable and/or uninspected/unregistered vehicles parked in the yard; and Thomas Coombes, 3 Parnell St., for debris accumulated and bathroom fixtures stored at 1-3 Parnell Street. Officer Joseph Demchak filed the reports.
MAN ARRESTED FOR MISCHIEF — Marc Canzano, 23, of 28 Pike St. was arrested for criminal mischief after damaging a business sign and exterior patio lighting at Calandi’s Cafe, 36 Pike St., and throwing a rock through the window of a limousine owned by Joseph Calandi which was parked on the property at 4 a.m. on Oct. 29. The damage was estimated at well over $500. Officer Eugene Groysman filed the affidavit.
WINDOW SMASHED — Mary McMahon, 33 Washington St., reported that some unidentified youngsters smashed the front window of her residence with a pumpkin and solar light which they took from the yard of her neighbor, Sharon Bianco of 35 Washington St., between 11 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. on Oct. 30. McMahon estimated that the cost of replacing the window would be $150. Officer Aaron Haley filed the report.
MAN CITED AS DISORDERLY — Mark Hanichak, Mayfield, was cited for disorderly conduct after engaging in a fight in the parking lot of McDonald’s Restaurant on Route 6 on Nov. 1. Officer Joseph Janczak filed the report.

CAR STRUCK ON MAIN ST. — Joanne Mazak, Throop, told police that she was traveling south on North Main St. when her car was struck by a 2002 Suzuki being driven by Kristin Vail, Covington, Pa., at 12:50 p.m. on Oct. 28. Vail told police that she was attempting to turn left from Park Place onto North Main St. going south and didn’t see Mazak’s car approaching due to a blind spot inside her vehicle. Mazak’s car sustained damage to its driver’s side rear door, rear quarter panel, rear bumper and rear wheel. Vail’s vehicle sustained damage to its front bumper and passenger side. Officer Eugene Groysman filed the report.
TRAFFIC VIOLATIONS
MOTORIST CITED — Frank Manchio, 97 Washington St., was cited for failing to stop for a posted sign on South Church St. in a Plymouth sedan. Officer Corey Sidorek filed the report.
