Lakeland Little Tykes Mentoring Program will conduct its 2nd Annual Little Tykes Golf Tournament on Sunday, Aug. 14, at Skyline Golf Course, with a 9 a.m. tee-off.

The program was founded by retired Lakeland High School Family & Consumer Science (FCS) teacher Mrs. Patricia Turrissini in 1994. Under the direction of current consumer science teacher Miss Gretchen Allan, the program has grown from one session to two sessions during the school year. 

The golf tournament was started in 2010 by Mike Robbins, to raise money for supplies to run the program.  To participate in the tournament, contact Mike Robbins (472-2809) or Gretchen Allan (840-8666).
