Anthony J. “Tony” Sudlesky, of Carbondale, died Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011, at Allied Skilled Nursing, Scranton.
Born in Peckville, son of the late Frank and Helen Weisneski Sudlesky, he attended St. Rose of Lima Church, Carbondale.  In his younger years, he helped out at the family farm in Susquehanna County.  He enjoyed walking around Carbondale, and he was a natural musician.  For many years he resided with his brother and sister-in-law, John and Ann, of Carbondale who were his caregivers.
The family would like to thank the nursing staff at Allied Skilled Nursing, especially the nurses of 3rd Floor South for their excellent and compassionate care, and also to his many friends at Allied.
Surviving are a sister-in-law, Ann Sudlesky, Carbondale, and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by: seven brothers — Frank, Walter, and John Sudlesky, and Alex, Joseph, Roman, and Julius Perkosky; and two sisters, Regina Cominsky and Helen Gasper.
The funeral was Saturday, Oct. 29, with a blessing service at the Brennan & Brennan Funeral Home, Inc., 55 Lincoln Avenue, Carbondale.  Interment, Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Finch Hill.
