Joseph S Kulikowski, 82, of Carbondale died Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2011, at the Carbondale Nursing Home.
His wife, the former Yolanda V. Santanna, died in 2008.
Born in Simpson, son of the late Stanley and Agatha Burbulis Kulikowski. He was a graduate of Fell High School. He retired from the Gentex Corp. with 52 years of service.
Joseph was a member of Assumption Parish/St. Anthony’s Church, Forest City.
He was his daughter’s hero and her best buddy, and she was his angel. He was a devoted husband, and he adored his grandchildren and great grandchildren. His joy was spending time with them. He will be desperately missed .
He is survived by his daughter Anita and husband Gary McDonough, Carbondale; two grandchildren, Gary Jr. and Angelica; two great-grandchildren, Cameron and Riley; a sister, Lillian Parsons, Colchester, Connecticut; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Adam and Stanley, and a sister, Anna Helms.
A Blessing Service was conducted on Friday, Oct. 21, at Joseph W. Scotchlas Funeral Home, Inc., 621 North Main St., Simpson, by the Rev. Patrick L. Albert.
Interment in St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Forest City.
