Carbondale Area closed out its LTC regular season this week

Lakeland claimed its sixth straight LTC Division III in both boys and girls track.

Weather permitting, local teams now embark on a full slate of district meets and invitational relays.

These events include...

•Jordan Relays: Slated for Thursday, May 3 at Scranton Memorial Stadium.

•Junior High Meet: The 2018 Phil Tochelli Junior High Championships will take place Friday, May 4 at Scranton Memorial Stadium beginning at 4 p.m.

•Lackawanna League: This year's edition of the Robert Spagna Memorial Championships is slated for Tuesday, May 8 at Scranton Memorial Stadium starting at 5 p.m.

•District Two Meet: This year's Class AAA event is scheduled for Monday, May 13 at Scranton Memorial Stadium beginning at 3 p.m.

•District Two Meet. The 2018 Class AA event is set for Tuesday, May 14 at Scranton Memorial Stadium starting at 3 p.m.

Cy Babcanec won the 100 (11.7), 200 (23.8) and 400 (51.5) to finish the regular season unbeaten in those events.

Jacob Frazier topped the 110 hurdles (15.3), 300 hurdles (43.8) and long jump (18-10) while CJ Dippre captures the javelin (114-0) and discus (143-0).

Noah Chupp added a win in the 800 (2:09) while Zach Reeves led the 3200 (11:20). The Chiefs also swept the relays.

Chance Olsewski won the 100 (11.4), 200 (23.5) and high jump (5-6).

Adam Rossetti topped the javelin (129-9) for CA (2-3).
