CARBONDALE — Little ghouls and goblins are invited to participate in the annual City Wide Trick or Treat event in Carbondale.

Held Tuesday, Oct. 31 from 3 – 6 p.m., children are welcome to visit the following businesses for a treat.

Other events

Vandling will be hosting a Halloween Party in the Park Oct. 31 from 4 -7 p.m. in the Vandling Recreational Park on Oak Street.

Entertainment will be provided, including a dance party from 4 – 7 p.m. with DJ Dennis.

Halloween magic will be performed by Stephen Christopher from 5 – 6, and town trick or treating is held from 6 – 8 p.m.

Sponsored by the Vandling Recreation Board, the borough will also be providing hot dogs, chips, water, cotton candy, popcorn and candy.

• Forest City will host a Trunk or Treat Oct. 27 from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m., and the Forest City Regional School District will have a haunted house from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. in the Spano building on the 500 block of Main Street.

• The Lakeland National Honor Society will host its "Haunted Halls" Halloween fun house fundraiser on October 28th and 29th from 5:30-9:00 at Lakeland High School.

The fundraiser will feature an insane asylum, pitch black maze, and zombie prison. Cost is $5 at the door.
